Seeking therapy can be an intimidating experience. Hat’s off to you for starting the process! My strength is my practical approach to finding a means to change ways clients have been stuck in their lives. Often that means understanding how past hurts or trauma have influenced our current attitudes, beliefs and gut-level reactions. Other times it means working on changing what is happening in the present. I specialize in depression, anxiety, coping with stress, as well as treating those who have been victims of abuse, in childhood or adulthood. I also work with adoptive families. I am EMDR, level 2 trained. I have a Ph.D in clinical psychology and have many years of experience in private practice, treating women and men, adults and teenagers, with a wide variety of issues.
