Let's face it, raising teenagers is hard. No one prepares you for the day to day emotional challenges that come with caring for your teen. I will also tell you a little secret, it’s also hard being a teen. Adolescence is a time where teens are figuring out who they are, where they fit in, all while trying to balance raging hormones and the never ending pressure to be someone else. Whether you are the parent struggling to communicate better with your teen, or the teen trying to navigate your burgeoning independence, my hope is to provide a warm space where healing and restoration can begin. I have experience working with families/couples who experience relational conflict, divorce, remarriage, and who wanted to strengthen their relationship with each other and their child. I also work with teens, women, and older adults who struggle with trauma, past abuse, infertility, life transitions, grief, self-esteem, body image, anxiety, depression, etc.
