Being bilingual has allowed me to work with Spanish speaking families. Being from a first generation immigrant family makes me sensitive to bi-cultural issues. My scope of practice has been primarily with young children, foster children, and adolescents. I also work along with parents to provide them with skills to handle problems such as tantrums, sensory issues, parenting/discipline issues, behavioral problems, and anxiety. I also work with young adults struggling with family conflicts, bi-cultural issues, career decisions, depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma.
