She uses motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, plus other techniques and modalities to help clients discover and meet their emotional and mental health goals. Using skills such as reflection and summarizing, interactive listening, affirmations, clients will feel heard and validated. Leyah has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master’s degrees Social Work. She’s experienced working with individuals experiencing crisis and trauma.
