Lia Friedman is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey who has been practicing since 2021. Lia believes that we do not see things as they are, we see them as we are; that although you cannot completely avoid pain in life, you do not need to suffer as a consequence. In other words, our life experiences, including those that have been traumatic, shape how we see and interact with the world. Sometimes we get stuck in the injustice of our experience, but that does not help us heal or move forward. Lia offers a balanced combination of compassion, empathy and challenging with care when needed.
