About
My approach to therapy is grounded in respect and curiosity. I work to create a space for dialogue that honors contradictions, unearths complex meanings, and enables learning and growth. Who you are, what is on your mind, what you are struggling with, what you care about – these questions are at the heart of the process. This means that each therapy relationship is unique and evolves over time. What emerges is a greater sense of freedom, competence, and connection to others. Often, people begin therapy because of challenges around relationships, grief, life transitions, or work. Sometimes, as "acute" tensions begin to resolve, there is room for concerns that may have been taken for granted, such as issues of identity, difference, alienation, self-doubt, and uncertainty in a rapidly changing world.
