We all possess the innate capacity for healing and growth, despite how painful our current struggles or past experiences may be. I believe even the most difficult symptom began as a way to cope with something unmanageable, and that we are able to shed what no longer serves us by building authentic and compassionate relationships with ourselves and others. I practice from a humanistic and trauma-informed perspective, and believe that safety and trust are the foundation of an effective therapeutic relationship.
