About
For over thirty years, as a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, I have helped adults, adolescents and couples to solve problems of living. My experience has given me a deep respect for the process of psychodynamic psychotherapy and its ability to help people lead more satisfying lives. Often, people seek therapy when they are feeling stuck in work or relationships or when they are experiencing depression, anxiety, pain or other somatic and emotional stresses. Therapy helps them replace ineffective or destructive patterns, leading to a much fuller range of life choices as well as deeper, richer emotional connections to other people. Key to my practice is each person understanding their own unique story within the context of a confidential, trusting relationship. By understanding our own thinking, and bringing into awareness the hidden parts of ourselves, we free up our creative thinking and start seeing and behaving in new ways.
