My approach to therapy starts with understanding your story! Next, I listen for patterns which might help you gain a better understanding of complex issues in your life. Then, we work together by helping you build resiliency and skills to promote healing. Usually, there is a check in time where you will share how you have been doing since the last session. Then, we will likely focus on how you liked / didn't like the "homework" we talked about in the last session. We will likely spend most of the session adding to your "toolbox" for better understanding and improved functioning in your journey to wellness.
