Clients usually come to me feeling genuinely confused about where they are in their lives and need help making sense of their experiences. Why am I struggling in relationships? Why am I so angry? Why can't I stop my addictive behaviors? There is usually a great deal of shame that colors the ways in which clients view themselves, which they often do not realize that they carry. My clients want practical tools and strategies for coping with life's trials; they want to see results in their lives from the work that they do in session; and they want healthy relationships with those they love. They want to feel loved and connected.
