In my years as a clinician one thing has always remained a constant, and that is difficulty with transitions and change, which life abundantly throws at us. Regardless of the situation, change or transition is often the cause of unsettling feelings that lead one to engage with a therapist. That being said, many people are more comfortable and able to successfully maneuver adjustments in their daily routine, in their family structure, home life, work, relationships, etc. Others however, may struggle with developing or utilizing ways of coping with such change.
