I am an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field providing direct, clinical services to individuals, families and couples. In my experience, I have found that people are reluctant to engage in therapy out of fear of change, avoidance of emotional pain and the uncertainty of how to heal and evolve. Therapy should be about finding opportunities for positive change and growth in the areas of your life which you wish to improve upon. It is my hope that when any client walks into my office, they feel comfortable, relaxed and have the space to be vulnerable. I incorporate treatment modalities which challenge and support the clients I serve. I provide a collaborative space exploring barriers which might keep someone from being the best version of themselves. I am sensitive to the influence cultural differences have on one’s sense of self, their relationships, perceptions and interactions with their environment.
