Many of us, at some point or another, face significant challenges that disrupt our way life. While we can usually find ways to adapt, these difficult periods can sometimes open up old wounds, or create new ones, that leave us feeling highly anxious, disoriented, or without hope. Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to explore how the circumstances of your life have shaped your relationship to yourself, to others, and to your sense of purpose. By paying close attention to the patterns that emerge in our work together, we can tend to sources of pain and stuckness. My hope is to help you enjoy life more fully and freely. I am experienced in helping individuals from all walks of life navigate an array of concerns, including chronic depression, anxiety, grief & loss, spiritual issues, and managing significant life transitions. I am licensed in California and Washington and am currently training as a candidate in psychoanalysis at the Newport Psychoanalytic Institute.
