It is important to work with a professional who specializes in eating disorders (ED) and will use effective treatment strategies. I have specialized in working with ED for 20 years. I am certified by the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I completed an internship and fellowship at the Uni. of Chicago Hospitals Eating and Weight Disorders Clinic. I have been a clinical supervisor for 14 years, training doctoral students/interns wanting to specialize in treating ED and related concerns.
