I am a psychotherapist who works with individuals to address various concerns and issues. I believe the best approach is collaborating as a team to find solutions that work best for you. We begin by creating a therapeutic alliance that allows you to feel safe to express yourself with no fear of judgment and move on to address more specific needs. Let me start by saying: you deserve to take up space. You are allowed to feel what you're feeling. Your brain's first instinct is to keep you alive, so whatever is going on up there is valid. When you're in my office, my hope is that you can allow yourself to feel these emotions to their fullest extent. As they say, 'the only way out is through'.
