About
My goal is to work collaboratively with clients and individualize treatment, to reduce negative symptoms and increase positive emotional well-being and life functioning. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I will work with you to help you learn to manage difficult emotions and develop tools that work for you. I have experience working with diverse populations, including children and families, adolescents, court-ordered services for victims of domestic abuse, as well as perpetrators, and people experiencing difficult life transitions such as divorce or death. I work to create an atmosphere where people feel safe opening up, even if it takes some time. I know with religious abuse and trauma survivors, finding safety with another is an ongoing process, and that is one of my foundational goals - to be a safe person for you.
