Hi and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are going through a wide range of challenges—things like anxiety, stress, big life changes, questions around identity, relationship issues, depression, or past trauma. While I work with people of all ages, I have the most experience supporting teens, pre-teens, and their families. Before becoming a therapist, I was a middle and high school teacher, and I’m currently a middle school counselor. I truly understand how tough and confusing those years can be for both children and their parents. When it comes to therapy, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and work to meet my clients where they are. In general, I practice using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I also incorporate other methods like EMDR, Sand Tray Therapy, and Family Systems work. My style is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth.
