About
I grew up in San Francisco and got my BA from the University of Pennsylvania and my MS in Social work from Columbia University, where I received the Dean's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. I view my role as being a "Sherpa" (experienced guide), walking with you, helping you acquire the tools, skills and insights to handle life's difficulties and challenges and identifying and navigating the obstacles. We all need help at times, and I will be by your side to provide comfort, support and guidance. I offer both individual therapy and grief support groups. Finding the right "Sherpa" can make all the difference. I did post graduate training at the Center for Complicated Grief at a Columbia University. I deal with multiple issues of loss, grief, and complicated grief, as well as losses during COVID. I have extensive experience in the prevention/treatment of dating/domestic violence and child abuse, as well as suicide prevention, sexual harassment and sexual assault,
