Lionheart Psychotherapy is an establishment run by innovative queer folks and allies that are dedicated to healing and creating a new path to accessible mental and emotional well-being. We know welcoming and social-justice oriented care can be difficult to find so we are dedicated to providing a safe space for our clients where their informed treatment is unique to them. In therapy lingo, we all talk about "doing the work" but we believe the therapeutic process also involves active exploration and play. Healing can be as delightful as it is difficult. All of us at Lionheart aim to create community through building trusting relationships inside the practice that ripple to the outside in every day life. Lionheart Psychotherapy offers individual, family, and couples counseling, as well as partnership with queer-allied small businesses. We approach therapy from our extensive trainings in trauma, racism, creative arts, high-risk populations, urban and rural arenas, substance abuse, family systems, and much more. It is through these lenses that we are able to practice efficient, compassionate, and radically authentic forms of therapy to our clients. Our practice is offering accessible mental health care to individuals, couples, families and communities at large.
