I earned both my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, with a minor in Psychology. In Graduate school, my concentration was Trauma and Women's Issues, receiving a Certificate in Violence Against Women and Children. I have volunteered and worked as a victim's advocate, with the domestic violence and sexual assault population. I have been certified by the Juvenile Justice Commission in sex-specific treatment, to work with the Juvenile Sex Offense population. I also have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment. I have worked with adolescents and adults as well as couples.
