Taking the first step to reach out for help is an act of strength and courage, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my approach to therapy with you. Mental health issues are both common and complicated. They result from a combination of biological, psychological, social, and societal factors. We may not be able to see it readily, but many of us are struggling. We may be dealing with mental illness or simply feeling pain from difficult life situations. This is a challenging time for our nation and the world, and we are experiencing a common sense of anxiety, sadness, grief, and loss that can test our ability to cope.
