Looking for a therapist is the first step! I strongly believe having a positive rapport with your therapist is essential so let me tell you more about myself. I bring 15 years experience as a therapist with the insight of several clinical interventions and use this expertise as I learn the issues at hand. I value providing a safe environment that is accepting, compassionate, and relaxed. I believe therapy begins with understanding who we are, what we want for ourselves, and the journey of how we get there. Those answers are different for everyone but we figure that out together. Truly therapy is just starting a conversation. My areas of expertise are working with those who are struggling with the stress of life, depressed, or generally have an internal voice that is less than kind. A short list that can encompass a lot of thoughts and feelings. We work together to identify the goals that are important to you. With insight and understanding, change can be lasting and significant.
