I like to call myself a retired military spouse. My husband was in the Air Force for 24 years and I was married to him for 20 of those years. We have been married for 32 years and have 3 children. I went back to school later in life. I obtained 2 associate degrees (Psychology and Sociology), a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and ultimately my Masters degree in Social Work. After my internship, I obtained my LCSW which allows me to do individual psychotherapy. I have worked at inpatient facilities. I have done outpatient groups with comorbidities (mental health and addiction) and individual psychotherapy. View 9 Photos Over the years, I have found when people are having fun, they learn more, retain it better, and are able to pull it forward in their mind to use easier. I may crack jokes, break out into song and dance, use song lyrics and movie quotes, and make learning coping skills fun. However, when you are being serious, I will be serious.
