I typically work with adults who come into therapy feeling uncomfortable and unsure. Many of my clients experience anxiety, notice that they might feel things more intensely than others, and are feeling out of place in a few different parts of their lives. I notice that these feelings are often accompanied by a sense of disembodiment - an uncertainty about how one's body reflects how they feel or a detachment from one's body, which causes great distress. Often, traumatic experiences have impacted the mind, body, and inner experiences of my clients and support is needed to explore these areas and to begin the healing process.
