Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the field for over twenty years. I have experience in a variety of settings and with a variety of clients. Many of the people with whom I have worked are struggling with some kind of change, whether it's children growing up, seeking abstinence from a drug or coping with divorce or our own aging process. All these changes can impact our mood and I can help a person cope with the resultant depression or anxiety for instance. In our first session, we will do introductions which might include some background. This would be followed by a fuller exploration of what brings you to therapy including what is causing distress, what your goals are moving forward and might also include what you have already tried.
