Lora Besser is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing therapy to children, families and adults. Lora uses a client centered, strength based approach, nurturing hope and belief in her clients ability to heal, while supporting their way to a path of personal resilience. Lora prioritizes her clients well-being, teaching self-compassion and encouraging a pursuit of self growth. She is relational, and genuine and she likes to honor the unique experiences that each of her clients bring to therapy. Lora has experience helping children & adults & she is known in the community for her ability to help children using unique child centered interventions. She uses several therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Based Treatment and is trained in Trauma Focused CBT and EMDR.
