Hi! My name Lori Linson, I am a counselor at Willow Wellness. I have been at Willow since 2019 assisting adults and couples with a variety of concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and skills for improving relationships. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999. I have been trained in couples’ workshops by the Gottman Institute as a Gottman Leader. I enjoy creating a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship where we can work together to build strengths, clarify goals, and create a plan to achieve them. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, solution focused approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also incorporate some humor and a little bit of chocolate.
