I take a person-centered approach to counseling, while utilizing tools from many other types of therapies. I feel it is important to get to the root of an issue by figuring out where it began, process through it to find healing and acceptance, and then use tools and techniques to make specific changes in thoughts and behaviors. I believe setting goals helps to track progress and can be a great motivator. I see counseling as a holistic process and integrate spiritual, physical, & mental aspects into the process, as you feel comfortable.
