A clinical psychologist with experience in both hospital settings and private practice, I develop a compassionate and non-judgmental rapport with people. The course of treatment is never doctrinaire or pre-determined, but dependent on the patient's temperament, life history and goals. If a patient is seeking treatment that is more ruminative and exploratory: that's fine. If a patient feels that an active and problem solving therapy holds promise, that's fine too. The essential thread, across any particular approach, is to link the narrative of a patient's life to behavioral patterns and improved choices, which reduces anxiety and heightens fulfillment.
