I specialize in helping people recover from complex trauma (CT). The most common symptom of CT is difficulty establishing lasting, satisfying relationships. For people with CT, normal every day interactions can cause immense emotional/psychological pain. It can be confusing for the person who has CT, as well as partners and friends, as the person may present as strong, competent and independent but then seemingly small interactions can send them into deep downward spirals. Most people I treat have been in therapy for anxiety and/or depression but never knew that they were suffering from symptoms of complex trauma.
