I am an individual who believes in the inner strength of each individual, sometimes you just need help in finding it. My practice will focus on trauma-informed care, seeking a solution to the hurts and wounds that bring each client to my threshold or doorway. We will work collaboratively using such techniques as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused interventions and S.M.A.R.T. goals (which are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-based). I will also assist and guide you in the attainment of inner peace and beginning to understand the mind-body connection. My work in trauma-informed care provides the framework and foundation to build on when addressing issues that adversely affect your activities of daily living. My unique perspective in relation to resilience and coping mechanisms, from a solution-focused lens will provide the tools to sustain the progress we make together while also utilizing CBT.
