I am a licensed professional counselor. I’ve been in practice 45 years. During that time I’ve been fortunate to work in all areas of the mental health field. I work with all age groups, and over the years have been able to develop a counseling style that meets individual needs. In terms of approach the feedback I get from clients is that I can be very matter-of-fact in a good way. I primarily like to work with a clean slate. So the first session usually involves talking about what’s going on with the client and in doing so listen and address issues and concerns.
