I am a senior clinical psychologist and Emeritus Professor of Psychology. My training includes B.S., M.A., and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh with internship in Veterans Affairs Hospitals. I completed specialized postdoctoral training in behavior modification at Stony Brook University. My orientation is cognitive behavioral therapy emphasizing changing current problematic behaviors. Medications are rarely recommended in this approach. My experience includes working with a variety of clients and supervising doctoral trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings and university counseling centers.
