Louise Sutherland-Hoyt, LCPC, CAGS I’m a trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, and Army Veteran (Vietnam era) devoted to tending trauma with presence, courage, and compassion. With over 30 years' experience in mental health, my role is to guide you through the remains of trauma—especially veterans, first responders, and the over-50 generation, like me. I earned a couple of graduate degrees from Cambridge College, Massachusetts, and I’m a Board-approved Clinical Supervisor. My work is rooted in Post-Traumatic Growth and guided by both evidence-based practice and your own inner resources. Think of your trauma as a deep, penetrating wound to your soul. A wound so severe that it separated you from your true self, who you were meant to be. Inside, you carry a load that others don’t see: Grief. Losses. Stealth wounds from the battlefield. Aging has arrived as a sobering reality. But on the outside, you're taking it all in stride.
