I see my role as helping people to identify and cultivate strengths in themselves, and strengths in their relationships; trusting that all of us bring the best we can to the problems of our lives and knowing that when someone is courageous enough to seek assistance, they are seeking to be better. I believe that as individuals we have the choice of becoming more than a trauma, more than a number, more than a victim. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Brainspotting Certified Clinician, and trained in EMDR and EFT. I practice individual, family, and group therapy. I have more than 10 years of experience working with trauma survivors and approach my work with clients from a systemic perspective, with focus on respecting everyone, and collaborating with clients in ways that help them access their own unique strengths and abilities with which to face life’s challenges.
