I am interested in helping and in understanding. My ideal client would be someone, who is willing to take the necessary time to educate me about themselves, and who would be willing to reflect on events involved in and outside of the therapy session. Relationships matter. I can provide advice, can problem solve, but prefer to work in a relational approach, where problems can be worked through and where all aspects of a client's identity can be seen and explored. I am an immigrant who believes everyone can benefit from building a positive therapeutic relationship. Due to COVID, I also offer Telehealth. Areas of interest include: immigration experiences, graduate school issues, losses, childhood issues, self-esteem, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, identity issues, chronic illnesses, trauma, etc. I do NOT work with Addiction; Court needs (DV, Custody, Divorce, Immigration, etc); Evaluations; Disability; etc.
