Trauma often robs us of our sense of safety and control – not just in our environment, but also our bodies and in connection with others. Healing begins once we feel safe in connection again. Healing reclaims our agency so we can choose to live authentically and empowered rather than reacting or hiding from a place of wounding. As we begin to feel greater safety in the world and spaciousness in our bodies, we are able to let in more goodness – authenticity, wonder, connection, and joy.
