Hi! I am Luis Gonzales, a licensed mental health counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor working out of the Tampa area. Having gone through a tragic life altering experience at a young age, I know what it’s like to feel lost and hopeless about the future. When I was 21 I suffered a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed and wheelchair-bound. Through my journey of recovery I learned firsthand, just how much our thoughts and emotions can become our biggest obstacles in life. I can help you learn the ABCs of how our thoughts affect our feelings. We will work together to identify those irrational beliefs that cause us pain and stress so you can minimize dysfunctional feelings and get back to living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
