Having a special interest in eating disorder treatment and related conditions my clients often have difficulty with issues of mood (especially anxiety and depression), lack of self-identity, fears of judgement and being alone, a craving for connection, a sense of not being understood, concerns about the future, and at times even self-hatred. The mental state of these types of conditions lead to an overwhelming, all-consuming thought process that is usually obsessional and demeaning. The goal of any patient is to learn how to rid fears, quiet intrusive thoughts and find a way to a more fulfilling life with some sense of inner peace.
