First, I am already so proud of you for making the choice to enter the counseling journey. Taking the first step is often scary and challenging. I hope to hold a safe space for you, while you courageously step into healing and self-exploration. We ALL need support as social and interconnected beings. Society, our upbringings, our individual and collective experiences influence the coping tools, behaviors, beliefs/thoughts that we hold on to. These all work for a period of time in our lives, and at some point, no longer work for us. In therapy, we can unlearn these unhealthy thinking patterns and learn new ways to heal and cope.
