About
I’m a licensed psychologist and board-certified psychoanalyst practicing steps from the DC border, in Bethesda, MD. I offer psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis to laypeople, clinicians, candidates, and graduate analysts—locally and across the U.S. People reach out to deepen their self-awareness, overcome anxiety or depression, and develop more fulfilling relationships. I teach at Johns Hopkins and Georgetown and supervise clinicians at all levels. At the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis, I’m a Training and Supervising Analyst. Also, I serve on the American Psychoanalytic Association’s Committee on Supervision. I see professors, physicians, attorneys, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts-in-training, and other clinicians—seeking depth and enduring change. I welcome individuals from many fields who are curious, thoughtful, and introspective. Reflecting the vibrant fabric of Washington DC’s international community, I value the role culture can play.
