We live in stressful times. I meet with clients every day who seek skills and strategies for managing the pressures of their personal, family, and work lives. Increasingly, I hear from clients asking for support in their efforts to cope with larger scale problems; they worry about COVID, the environment, political and racial polarization, war, the economy, and more. Many clients recognize that symptoms of anxiety, depression, physical ailments and relationship problems are rooted in or worsened by the stress in their lives. Clients often feel overwhelmed or burnt out. They want to feel energized, connected, loving and joyful.
