I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship distress, difficult transition, school/work issues, low self-esteem, and addiction. Although I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, I incorporate techniques from several different theories depending on the clients’ personality and circumstances. I work with clients to hear their concerns without judgment and to explore ways to achieve emotional growth, develop skills, and achieve desired changes. In addition to my work in my private practice, I have experience working in community-based mental health, law enforcement, integrated healthcare, school settings, and inpatient facilities, where I have provided individual therapy, facilitated counseling groups, and provided clinical supervision to master’s level students.
