About
I draw from my experiences working in hospitals, theatre, and teaching settings to cultivate a creative and warm therapeutic environment. I practice narrative therapy, so I co-work with clients to consider the contexts, cultures, and structures of power which influence and create their worlds. Through this effort, I help clients relate to “problems” as culturally specific phenomenons that exist outside of us. I see humans as inseparable from their environment, so explore relationship dynamics inside and outside of the therapy room. I sometimes write my clients letters about our sessions, so if you enjoy pen pals, I'm your guy! I see children and adults of all ages and work with relationships. I enjoy working with my fellow queer and trans community. I offer outdoor/walking therapy, including outdoor group therapy. I am trained in EMDR for all ages, and somatic therapies. I use mindfulness exercises to help people access presence, regulation, and self-trust.
