Book an appointment online via our website! Maddie completed her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in December 2023 from Hofstra University. She has experience working with clients of all ages and demographics in a variety of settings. She received training for individual and group therapy at a psychiatric partial hospitalization program for adolescents. Maddie also gained experience while providing acute services to teens and adults with behavioral health concerns. Maddie follows a person-centered theoretical orientation and utilizes a skills based approach. She primarily incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) interventions. She is well versed in interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills.
