I believe everyone has the internal capacity to change and heal, but that can be really hard to do when we're dealing with spirals of shame, blame, anger, and overwhelm. My goal in therapy is to provide a validating, non-judgmental, gently challenging space where we can tackle those barriers together and move toward the changes you want to see in your life. My main areas of focus are anxiety and depression, complicated/painful family backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, and faith transitions. I tailor my approach to the needs of my clients using mindfulness-based and trauma-informed therapies. My style in sessions is often open-minded, warm, and direct.
