I specialize in working with Black women who struggle to feel seen and heard while tending to wounds created by unrealistic societal expectations. However, I maintain the ability to work with individuals with histories of trauma, anxious thoughts, depressive feelings, and couples experiencing communication issues. Our sessions will involve holding space for who you have been, and who you are, while challenging you to see who you’ve always had the capacity to be. As a Spelman-educated therapist, I understand the need for Black women to have safe spaces to show up as they are, instead of who they have been told to be.
