About
During the last 15 years of my professional work, I have developed effective strategies that help families successfully overcome conflicts and improve their relationships. My area of specialty is marriage and family therapy. I also work with adolescents and have a broad knowledge of 504/IEP, which offer accommodations to students who experience difficulty learning in a general education setting. I have worked with school districts to educate school staff about mental health issues in adolescents and assist with implementing interventions to alleviate academic pressures, and help teens navigate their peer relations and mental health. I am bilingual and offer therapy in Polish and English. Therapy is available vía telehealth and in person, although I think that the therapeutic relationship develops best during in-person contact. I also offer brief phone consultations for parents who are considering therapy for their child.
