I deeply respect and value the courage that it takes for an individual to seek therapy. It is an incredible gift to oneself. Echoing the words of Erich Fromm, I wholeheartedly believe that “whether we or not we are aware of it, there is nothing of which we are more ashamed than of not being ourselves, and there is nothing that gives us greater pride and happiness than to think, to feel and say what is ours”. While fostering a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and authenticity, I seek to emphasize each individual's unique strengths and skills as we sort out the emotional distress together.
