Exposure to trauma and grief are common problems in life, but uncommon topics in everyday conversation. It's hard to find support for complicated issues when less-complicated things like work take so much of your time. Many of my clients are providers themselves, team leaders or first line of defense or intervention at work. The emotional toll of their work must remain hidden or masked in order to do their job well. It’s not easy and sometimes feels impossible to reach out for help or to simply find a safe place to talk.
